Hi lovely,
When I was diagnosed with ADHD at 31, I searched everywhere for help. Most ADHD books were written by men, and while informative, they missed the spot for what I needed.
I didn't want another book about productivity or time management. I didn't want to be told what ADHD was or where it came from or how difficult I should expect life to be.
To be completely honest, I was sick and tired of the doom and gloom surrounding ADHD accounts on social media at the time.
I just wanted to feel healthy and happy.
As a fitness coach, I 'should' have had it all figured out. But I was burnt out, inflamed, fighting my body daily. I kept falling into this unhealthy cycle. Everything felt wrong.
I took the matter into my own hands and found a way. I forgot everything I had ever been told and did it my way.
That's when I realized: we need to change how we see ADHD and how we see ourselves, otherwise we donβt stand a chance. Traditional health advice isn't just failing us - it's making us feel worse.
Then everything changed. When I started understanding my ADHD brain, treating my body differently, my entire life transformed. I felt good again. I found my energy. I made peace with my body. I finally understood what my nervous system needed.
That's why I wrote HEALTHY HAPPY ADHD. This isn't just another book - it's the start of a movement. It's about changing how we see ourselves, understanding our unique needs, and creating a totally new approach that actually works for our brains and bodies.
The book has just launched this week!
Because ADHD girls deserve to feel healthy and happy too π
Love, Lisa
Ps. Be prepared to say goodbye to the βI canβt stick to anythingβ line once you get stuck into this book.
